Rabsca also only protects from attacks, not abilities like dusknoir
There'd have to be a card that states something like "... your pokemon can't be affected by your opponent's pokemon's abilities"

Yeah I was referring to the guy that suggested Rabsca.
But yeah like I said before unless there's a card that blocks abilities from affecting your pokemon we are far from a Dusknoir counter

Not a perfect solution and requires some setup, but if you really want a counter-deck for that, you can look at something like Ting-Lu with Cursed Land, and maybe have a Blizzard Articuno.
Not really worth the hassle, imo.
These days, I use Aerodactyl a lot, Devolution Ray and no retreat cost makes it a perfect counter for those decks that use Rare Candies to get to Stage 3, like Dusknoir, Pidgeot and Charizard. It one-shots all of them, but you only get 1 prize card. Once they're out of Rare Candy, it's over, tho.
Just run 4 Bosses Order and don't let them setup their Duskull

Good thing that this topic exists... now that as a halloween gift they offer an ev line of Dusknoir (full art) we will probably have a few more of this decks to counter 🤔
