I have been playing TCG online for about 1 month and have not seen anything mentioned.

@PokemiiAC for sure you can play just for fun and the challenge like I and most do, it's probably the number one reason I still play online.
And yes many have prizes for the top 8, usually the larger it is the better rewarding you get. I have won sometimes but tbh it's not what it is about for me, it's just great fun and it will make you a better player because of the rules, judges, slow play punishment, there can be tie games, etc. basically it's closer to the physical card game environment.

I think the only limitation is that you have to be in the Masters division (born 2008 or earlier), but I could be wrong.

"Play.LimitlessTCG" doesn't set any age limit, the only thing that can happen regarding age it's some tournaments that offer physical/money rewards will not give you those reward if you are a minor, you may instead receive gift code cards of equivalent value or something else or nothing at all.
