Bug? Hydrapple knocks out mimikyu…

My card:
mimikyu
with the ability safeguard :
prevent all damage done to this pokemon by atacks from your opponents pokemon ex and pokemon v
Possible bug: hydrapple ex was able to knock out mimikyu with its syrup storm attack.
this shouldn’t be possible because of mimikyu’s ability.
