Why did the distributors refuse to show the Porygon episode?

Now with streaming shouldn't it be safe because there can be a programming code written to steer people that have a potential to have a seizure away from watching. Why must I miss out on rewatching an episode that is mid but plays into my nostalgia?

I think sending 700 kids to the hospital in Japan alone is enough for the episode to be banned everywhere, however, the Porygon line did recently come back to the anime.

Most likely has to do with a particular incident in Japan. If I got the chance, I could revive the virtual Pokemon with one condition,
