    Happens in every card game. Often blatantly, even on camera and in front of judges. Who knows how much goes on in the early matches.

    Stakes are high, opponents are focused on the game and their own plays, and it only takes a minority of participants with loose morals to make everyone look bad and lose faith in the integrity of the game.

    Yes, not the 1st not the last, just look at the mexican guy that won worlds this year... lost the top 8 with 0-2 record and still found a way to make it to the finals... by making a case that his opponent winning gesture was obscene (we have seen worst get ignored lol).

    Cheating is real, not always the best player wins and even when wins there are shady ways to make it a loss. This year worlds was a total scam what a shame.
