    i mean if it isn't ho-oh in a non draft or random battle defender is kind of weak imo.

    Probably Umbreon, because it gets first-picked in almost every tournament draft. Maybe Trevenant or Blastoise after that because those always get snatched up pretty fast as well.

    I don't do defender roles but if I had to choose what works for me…? Maybe blastoise.

    I would’ve answered Mr. Mime is the best defender, but I now realize he’s a supporter role. Still acts as a good defender imo lol.
