What's the deal with iOS?

@TPCi_CursedSoup I think a lot of have been pleased with some of the improvements of communication, but so many of us are still really confused/curious about what is happening with the iOS version. Can we please get some sort of clear timeline beyond "soon?" It's been more than a month and a half since the beta started. This isn't what I thought ya'll meant by soon in this context. If you can't provide specific timeline, can you at least tell us what the hold up is or what has to happen before the iOS version goes live?
