Why are they banning so many cards, or making all of their own pre-made decks useless?

Rotation happens annually (usually 2 weeks after a new regulation mark is introduced), this is done to make old cards that would struggle with older cards viable and to remove archetypes that have overstayed their welcome (ADPZ and Mew VMAX are recent examples), just imagine how bad the format would be if we had Computer Search in today’s format (I will admit that they have reprinted some of the older ACE SPEC cards, but only the ones that could see play without breaking the game)

You can still play many of those rotated cards in expanded format, not all for now tho.
