    I hope not unless they give it to Pokémon that aren't already super popular and also aren't part of a trio, duo, or the like.

    That line of thinking has led me to conclude that The Pokemon Company have regretted making Ash-Greninja. Not only was Greninja introduced to the Switch (SV) without the Battle Bond form change, but in Journeys, the Kalos flashbacks involving Ash-Greninja were edited to have Greninja's base form instead. I think there was also a databook released as of this Generation, with every Pokemon form that had ever appeared in the games… but Ash-Greninja was the only glaring exception.

    And that is why I think The Pokemon Company regrets having allowed Ash-Greninja to exist.

    Like others are saying I think Battle bond probably was just an Ash exclusive thing with greninja but also probably comes of the back of Greninja's overall popularity. Would be cool to see other Battle Bond Pokémon for other characters Pokémon. I think Goh's Cinderace with a variation of Battle Bond could be cool.

    @ORBEETLE345 That's a good start.
