Building a new deck
Hi, I’m very new to Pokémon, my boyfriend’s gotten me into it the last couple of months and we’ve decided to build our own decks.
My deck I’m trying to build is based around tinkaton (mainly because that’s the first evolution set I got so I’m kind of attached to it) does anyone have any recommendations about what cards would go well for a deck like this? I know how many of each card I need (e.g. energy, items and Pokémon’s) it’s more what would work well. The tinkaton card number is 085/182 if that helps.

If you want to build a tinkaton deck you should not use that one— it is not very good— you should instead use the ex from Paldea Evolved. If you do this, you should try playing it with the sort-of-new Dudunsparce TEF. This helps you draw tons of cards to nuke your damage with Tinkaton, and it's relatively easy to set up. It is worth noting that Tinkaton is not a great deck to use competitively; it is very beginner-friendly, but it will not be winning any tournaments. If you want a competitively viable deck, go to limitlesstcg.com and choose one of the top decks to build— Chien-pao and Charizard are great to start with.
