Revision in the Linear Pokemon League Gameplay

For those who are tired of the typical 8 gym badge earning then beat elite four and then battle champion, How would you intend to revise the gameplay?

battling eight types of challenges isn't enough for me. And the Elite Four isn't the pinnacle but the champion is. To revise the gameplay would have to be make a challenge that cannot be defeated without some kind of prior knowledge over the internet.

@Eremas All right then, How about we raise the stakes with battle clubs or something along the lines that earn you the right to challenge 1 gym leader. 1 battle club per gym leader of different city.

Something like a real life Video Game circuit might be cool !
Where there are many tournaments in the region and you qualify for the Pokemon League.

A more story version of Battle Frontier could be fun too, like an Evil Team tries to disrupt all these types of battle facilities.

I think large crowds like in Sword and Shield, with the big stadiums also makes things so cool!

Just to add on, disrupting the gameplay with Double/Triple/Rotation battles is also a good idea!
