Having trouble understanding How this works...
So everytime i play against someone using "Big parasol", my pokemon deal zero damage to the equipped pokemon. So i decided to invest in "Wash blue energy", which has a similar description, but in practice the wash blue energy doesn't seem to do anything. Is this a bug, or am i not understanding how to use this card right?
In this example, they had a Crobat V, with a choice belt equipment, and my pokemon had a Wash blue energy equipment.
So the CrobatV shouldn't have done any damage right?

Both "Big parasol" and "Wash water energy" prevents effects of attacks (damage is not an effect).
In the example you mentioned before, Crobat V's attack does 70 (100 with a choice belt against a pokémon V) + poison. If your pokémon had a wash water energy, that pokemon should take 70 damage (100 if it was a pokémon V) but the poison effect should not apply.
Keep in mind, Wash water energy only gets its bonus effect if the pokemon attached to is a water pokemon.
As for the first sentence in your post, which attack were you using that dealt zero damage to the opponent? and do you remember which pokémon had the big parasol attached?

I can't remeber what pokemon had the Big parasol on it, but i remember no matter what card i tried to atrack with, it kept saying i would deal 0 damage, with whatever pokemon i used (only had standard and V pokemon in deck). Pretty sure their pokemon didn't have an ability either, but i could be mistaken.
I had to atrack their benched pokemon to deal any damage. I'm running a mono-blue started deck.

There's a few pokémon that can protect themselves from taking damage.
Miltank from astral radiance prevents all damage from pokémon V.
Duralodon Vmax prevents all damage from pokémon with special energy.
Eiscue from evolving skys has an attack that prevents damage from basic pokemon.
Goodra Vstar has an attack that reduces 80 damage from the next attack it receives (in addition, regidrago Vstar has an attack that allows it to copy the attack of another dragon in the discard, like goodra vstar)
It could be a simple case of the pokémon itself was preventing damage, not the big parasol, or it could be a bug that needs to be fix, if that wasn't the case.

Thanks for the info though. Now I'm wondering if it was just an ability. Was a few days ago now. Much appreciated.
