Error with Tool Scrapper

Went to use Tool Scrapper and discarded 2 Capes from my opponent's Blissey VMAXs and after I chose them, the prompt didn't go away. I needed to choose a tool from my own Pokemon and click Done and then it went back to a playable state. My tool was not removed.
