A Pokémon game for the virtual boy? Hmm no, I don't think so.

Well, the first Pokémon games were released in Japan in '96, and the Virtual Boy had already been cancelled by then. So I very much doubt it.

Pokémon was in development from around 1990 though, so if ever a Virtual Boy game was ever considered or worked on, we never heard about it.

Gamefreak could barely get gens 1 and 2 working on the Game Boy. I doubt adding Virtual Boy development would have helped.
