RIP 3DS Online
The PSS in gen 6 was really fun. It did have occasional moments where people would avoid censors (a lot actually. I found like 4 people saying bad things just a few minutes ago), but ignoring that, it felt comfy despite 60% of the players always being offline regardless of whether the 3DS internet is closing in less than 12 hours or if it's just a random day in 2020. I loved showing people my PR video of my character drowning (I put a lot of effort into making that, it's funny how creative you can get with the PR videos and how oddly good or disturbing you can make them) and giving everyone O-powers.
Festival Plaza was really cool. One of my favourite things was seeing what outfits other people created. I also loved being able to dye my clothes, being able to unlock quotes (I have no idea what the things you say in FP are called so I'll say quotes) from previous games like "I can't see Mirage island today...", being able to have multiple lottery shops, the people who get creative with their quotes, and I loved ranking up and the rewards you get even if I never got to a really good rank. It's sad you'll only be able to see the characters with the Festival Fan or whatever name that you meet by never connecting to the internet in new games from now on.
I loved the 3DS internet. It was free, it was comfy, it was fun, it was entertaining. It was more focused on than the internet on the DS from what I've noticed, so a big chunk of many games is just disappearing now.
Also did you know that you can't access this site and many others on a 3DS.

I also love the 3ds internet as well. But the 3ds legacy won't be gone forever.

Like the phoenix rising from the ashes, so will the 3ds legacy and all of its features.

It was my first gaming system and it will forever hold a place in my heart.

@Michael629303 I love the 3ds so much that it's the best handheld console ever happened to me. I would love to see it being revived.

At least we still have Pokemon Bank (assuming you've already downloaded it). Remember to transfer up anything you guys want to ASAP.

I doubt it'll happen soon at least, since it's paid and therefore it makes Nintendo money to have it working. Plus, the Switch has a lot more people who own it (I think. Nearly no one in the schools I went to even knew what a 3DS was but when the Switch released everyone knew or owned it) so they can't just remove the internet while there are millions of people who use it everyday.
Thankfully I downloaded Bank back when it had a free trial but was paid, so I managed to download Transporter too. I should probably buy the Home subscription and finish training the Pokémon I wanted to move soon but I keep forgetting.
