It outclasses other options like pink or black.

It's good, but pink and black have their own issues.
Pink is NEVER worth running on anything. It does not do enough to warrant a full investment into it, and there used to be (and could still be) not enough emblems to even get enough.
Black DOES outclass white on offensive sp. atkers. It is only not used on physical attackers because there are not enough dual brown-black emblems to make it worth running, though it has been used before.
