I say Finizen because I see no difference for Palafin. They look the exact same.

I also find the convergent species designs extremely lazy too. Best to come up with something better than Wiglett line and Toedscool line.

I even find Palafin's original, non hero design unoriginal. I can come up with better dolphin pokemon than Finizen and palafin put together.

I'm surprised no one has said the Pawmi line. This is literally their artwork from the official Anipoke account.

I like the Pawmi and I don't think the core design is lazy, but there is barely anything to differentiate the evolutions.

Honestly, a lot of gen 1 designs were lazy. Sure, there were plenty of bangers, but there's also the Pidgey line, Rattata line, Ekans line, etc. It's a bunch of real world animals with some small changes. I get why they exist, world building is important, but it doesn't mean they aren't lazy.
