11 cards but can only use 1 in my deck ?

It says I have 11 professor junipers but I can only add 1 to my deck before it makes me exchange for more of them ? I just started playing again used to play on the online version not live . I'm not sure if this is a glitch or what but its pretty annoying … any idea ?

You most likely had only one of that specific type of Research. You need to click on the drop-down below the card and select a type of Research that you do have. I had this problem when starting out on Live as well.
