If I purchase the battle pass premium does it unlock 15 tiers above my current level or not?

For example, I am currently on a tier 17 battle pass. If I purchase it now will my battle pass go to level 32?

If you just buy the regular battle pass your level will not change, but if you buy the battle pass premium then it will go up fifteen levels I think. Dunno for sure, I would never waste my crystals on that.
