What? No more Pokémon anime movies? Why?
I knew that Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle were originally released in Japan for the movie theaters in 2020. However, sadly, there haven't been anymore Pokémon anime movies released in Japan for movie theaters ever since Secrets of the Jungle. Now I wonder why you think? And do you think that there will be any Pokémon anime movies, whether they're based on the Horizons anime movie series, or Ash's post-Journeys comeback main continuity movies or the Pokémon original anime movies or not anymore? Why?

I never really cared about the I Choose You movie trilogy- I thought the original movies, which mostly served as ways to feature Legendary/Mythical Pokemon in the anime without disrupting the main plot, were better. To an extent, the I Choose You trilogy did this as well, showcasing Marshadow and Zarude.
It's hard to say whether the tradition will continue, as no Mythicals in S/V have been introduced as of yet, and the general storytelling structure of Horizons could make it easier for them to feature those kinds of Pokemon in the main show, without the need for a spin off movie.

So, do you think that a 24th Pokémon anime movie will be set after the end of The Rainbow and the Pokémon Master featuring the return of Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu or will it be based on the Horizons anime series, or do you think that the Pokémon anime movie series is over? Why?

@clasingla Have no fear as I would plan to do canon Pokemon anime films tie in to the Main Pokemon anime series along with Pikachu Shorts. Except this time, not every Pikachu short will star Pikachu. Some will have Meowth having the short end of the stick just for the sake of laughs.
