The new game announced recently

OH MY SHINY ARCEUS LEGENDS KALOS IS REAL LEGENDS KALOS IS REAL LEGENDS KALOS IS REAL I JUST FINISHED ACTUALLY SCREAMING IN EXCITEMENT.

(Note: I haven't yet read what the website says so this is all based on the trailer in the presents. Also just in case this takes a bit to get approved, this was made right after the presents ended)

Legends Z is releasing next year (2025)! Kalos is my favourite region so I'm really excited for this. Looks like they might actually havd been trying to give us lots of Unova content in the previous games to avoid a remake/sequel for Unova, but it's still gen 9 and they usually release a remake on the generation that game was first in times 2 (Sinnoh in gen 8, Hoenn in gen 6, Johto in gen 4) so who knows.

The game seems implied to be set either in the future or sometime before Lumiose City as we now know it was built.

We'll probably get new Mega forms (maybe for the legendaries and starters too now, since they're focusing on genwunners less, and I want Mega Delphox), and possibly Kalosian forms for old Pokémon. Possibly a quest searching for Zygarde cells and cores like in Alola too, since it seems to focus on Zygarde.

ANYWAY my favourite region/games I was just thinking about a few hours ago finally got something after the other games got third versions, upgraded versions, sequels, and DLC, after it was left with only the first games, it finally got something new. I was not expecting this. And the trailer made me actually scream when I saw Lumiose after a great feeling of dread about if this presents might announce nothing new, I am now happy.

I don't know when it'll release next year though.

(Also Furfrou and the other Pokémon who haven't been on the Switch will finally be in a new game, though they might be on the Switch 2)

I read the official site's thing about it

Turns out it's called Legends Z-A. Possibly this means AZ, a really old guy from XY, could be involved in the story more than he was in XY as that's almost his name. ALSO ETERNAL FLOETTE RETURNS CONFIRMED FINALLY (not really, it's actually barely implied, but very likely thanks to the previous points).

The way it's worded on the official site implies it's in the future and not past. I'm excited to see the characters again, whether they're going to be older or younger.

we got legends Arceus based on the past before paldea who's theme was based on past and future and then we are going to get a game based in the future maybe to fit the other theme but what if this was the actual building of lumious city where as the story progresses more of the city is built and maybe you discover mega evolution?
