Neo Upper Energy is a Special Energy and an ACE SPEC card.

I read the article. Mostly I'm just excited to play Ancient Box. Can't wait. I registered for a regionals in Orlando so maybe I'll get to play it there.

What do you guys think Neo Upper Energy will be played in? I think it has potential in Gardie, but I think the other ACE SPECS are more tempting. Also has potential in Zard, but Master Ball, Prime Catcher, and Unfair Stamp are so much more powerful.

I think NUE is the least playable of all the Ace Specs

I mean it is good if set up early

    Here’s the thing though.

Notable decks that play stage 2s:

-Gardevoir (once you have a stage 2 attacker setup you have energy acceleration from Gardevoir ex)

-Charizard (your stage 2 attacker supplies itself with energy)

-Chien-Pao (the only stage 2 in the deck accelerates energy)

What currently meta stage 2 deck actually needs NUE? None. So unless this inspires a new stage 2 to become relevant, which is unlikely because there is no great way to search out special energy rn.

    Is Chien-Pao even a Stage 2 Pokémon?
