How should the pokemon company keep the games healthy?
For me, I think its thoughtful consideration put into the battling and making them good but this question is for a broader audience in case I missed something like plot or making more favourites of one particular type. I'm interested in what you guys think of the Discussion Title.

Stop rushing them out. Give the developers the time and resources needed to develop them. I think every single aspect of the games has suffered for this reason.

I think everyone agrees that they should develop the games for a little longer. 3 years is not enough to fully finish the games. They should have 4 or 5 years at least between each gen. No one wants another faithful remake that only adds the fairy type, 3D and actual downgrades (no more secret bases) because Game Freak is rushing and unable to handle more games. Please.
I just hope we don't get a chibi BW remake because that game is much more serious than DP, and the cutesy chibi style does not work with it.

Chibi paldea remake would be the most hilarious game ever @UnovanZorua

Sadly I don't think we'll get a chibi Paldea remake, since the chibi in BDSP is a reference to how the sprites looked in gen 4.

I don't think it is the fans pushing for three games to be released in one year, as was the case with the release schedule of BDSP, PLA and SV.
Yes, there are always some people unreasonably demanding new games all the time, but I believe the majority of the fanbase would be more than willing to be patient if it meant higher quality games.
I think it is probably the higher ups at Gamefreak, TPC and/or Nintendo pushing for more frequent releases. Given that the Pokémon name alone seems to guarantee broken sales records, I am not surprised there has been little concern for QA or innovation. If it says Pokémon on the box, people will literally buy two of them. And pre-order the DLC. And pay for a Home subscription.
As for BDSP, I personally think they are the worst versions of Diamond and Pearl and two of the worst games in the whole franchise. But even setting that aside, the fact that Gamefreak couldn't be bothered to develop them themselves and the games not only retained the bugs present in the original releases but added brand new ones, speaks to the issues with those games and Pokémon games in general.

I think that if they really want to make an annual game release so badly, they could at least make use of the spinoff properties that keep collecting dust instead of trying to make big new mainline content in such a short time period. They were really creative with the spinoffs for many years and nowadays the spinoff releases have mostly been freemium games or remakes of older games instead.
it's not like they'd go bankrupt skipping releases for a few years either - they could coast on merch alone and then just release a new gen after 5+ years. But short-term profit makes that look less appealing i guess

@PachirisuFan1 I think the franchise would be well served bringing in other studios to work on spin-off games; both those that have developed them before and new ones.
Let Gamefreak produce a new main series game every three years or so. Then have other studios working simultaneously on other games so that they will release to fill in the yearly release schedule.
