What place do you think should be next to get a pokemon region?
While I like the most recent regions, they're all based on European countries. While this isn't an inherently bad thing, it would be nice to see a region from a completely different part of the world - not the US, Europe, or Japan. What are your top picks?

Egypt, Brazil, and Oceania. Those would be awesome.

I think a place based off Australia or The Maldives would be cool. Stuff like beach houses, you know.

We've gotten 2 regions in America and the rest are 4 in Japan and 3 in Europe. Even the DLC locations of SV are Japan and America.
We need somewhere in Asia other than Japan, or somewhere in Africa.
It's boring wondering what state from the US or popular EU country the next gen will be based on (probably Italy because of the falling tower near Alfornada that's one of the 10 sights of Paldea and I've also heard about some paintings in-game that look like they're from Italy).

I don’t usually respond to these kinds of hypotheticals (because the optimism often makes me physically ill) but it’s worth remembering that a large amount of of the regions not based off of areas in Japan, if not all of those areas, are based of countries that are both popular with and safe for Japanese tourists.
