Bots in ranked matches?

Anyone else run into someone in ranked that does lightning fast actions like a bot? Just had another match against someone (random jumble of letters and numbers in username as well, so another telling sign), and literally every action they did (play a pokemon, draw, use items, attack, attached energy cards, etc.) were all done without any hesitation whatsoever. Is this a new thing or has this been a thing in the old TCG Online?
