About Pokemon with Weird Typings

Game Freak pays enough attention to Charizard. It's for a reason, that thing is very popular. But also very hated as only the Mascot of the franchise gets more love than it.
If they actually changed its type to a better one, I don't think the fanbase would react positively. Like seriously some of the other starters get no love (like Meganium and Feraligatr) and this thing gets 50 power-ups.

Cresselia should've been retyped to Fairy to better fit the moon's association with the Fairy type, as well as give it the advantage in the Cresselia-Darkrai relationship that it's supposed to have.

Its actual body is made of seaweed. Seaweed is plant matter.

Still, I barely notice the seaweed. They could have at least made one of it’s typings steel.

Well, at least it has a form of compensation in its only ability, Steelworker. Steelworker powers up the user's Steel moves by 1.5x (the typical STAB multiplier).

Yes, I know dhelmise is grass ghost, I gave it as an example of a Pokémon with a confusing typing. I wasn’t being entirely serious; I was being somewhat sarcastic…
