How do I get cards?
It costs like 750 credits to craft a single pokemon V and I have... 200.
The game decided not to port over my collection from PTCGO and now I have no means of building a deck. What do I do? Am I supposed to just play with the loaner decks and make do with the pittance of credits that the game awards?

You play the game, complete daily quests, gain experience to climb the battle pass tiers and unlock rewards, collect them, open boosters, get extra cards converted to credits, spend crystals on bundles or more boosters, and so on.
It's long, tedious process with only possible shortcut being to purchase the physical product from retailers and redeem the code in-game.
Also problem with PTCGL is that it only contain data for small selection of latest expansions, thus many cards and probably even flip coins simply cannot be transferred when migrating data from PTCGO because the data simply does not exist in PTCGL.
