Question about Friends List on PTCGL.

Hello.

In the game when you are looking at the Friends list my friends have various numbers above their names. What do the numbers mean? Some of them have a 1,,2, 3, or 4. I'm just curious what that means.

    It shows what rank they are so if they are togipi it says one if they are riolu it’s 3

    I was wondering about that as well, I think the icons represent the position on the ladder.

    Could the numbers represent the number of matches against the friend in question?

    It's not the number of matches I've played against them. They all should be 1 because I have never played against them more than once.
