trainer account

I signed up for pokemon unite as a guest, and now i have a trainer club account. But when i try to link my trainer account to my current account, it is not working. If it is a bug, please fix it, because i worked hard lot on my account and don't want to waste any progress. If this is not a bug, please implement a feature to link the trainer account to your guest mode account as many trainers would want to have their progress. They paid their membership, and bought lots and lots of gems. So please fix this major issue so many users can very satisfied of this game.
