Yeah.. old news? 🤔 Got 5 months of Unite fun but yeah time to contemplate your post-Unite future. No idea what it's going to be but it'll leave a big hole for TPC to fill.

Yet it was leaked days before that when it was officially announced that the shock had worn off. I mean it still hurt for those who play but if you were warned ahead of time that something might be happening and then it happens, it doesn't sting as much because you were able to brace for it. If this had no indication that it was coming, then I'd be with you 100%

Either way it sucks because a Pokemon MOBA feels like the right idea for those who crave a real time battle simulator compared to the games that are traditionally turn-based. Whether they'll stay that way is the real question because I feel that the writing is on the wall with Arceus and Z-A that they are testing the waters for a change to the battle system. Whether they'll go ahead and do it for Gen 10 I don't know but given that Champions exists for competitive, I get the feeling that the real time combat is going to take over.

Granted I could be wrong but I won't be shocked if that's the case because they've been testing it for awhile now.
