New collector and need some help

My son asked for some pokemon cards two weeks ago in a shop, he bought a Japanese pack and two Korean packs of what I think is called team rocket. He seemingly was very lucky and got the Mewtwo chase card, which I googled and found out is something like a 1/450 chance, and now he (and I) are hooked.

Although his card is Korean, we've been buying some individual Korean booster packs, however I decided Japanese is probably best for our new hobby, since they seem to be a lot easier to source than English however have a close value despite often being half the price. Korean is of course even cheaper however the value of the cards is often well under half of English or sometimes Japanese.

Unfortunately here comes my problem, the more I read the more suspicious I get of sellers. I bought a mega dream x Japanese booster box which consisted of 10 high quality packs for around 85 euro, but how do I know if a box has been repacked or not, it seems that repackers are more than aware of the tells and I don't really know how to securely buy packs.

As an example I've found some inferno x boosters on ebay from sellers with 100s-1000s of positive reviews, the boxes cost around 85 euro. However on cardmarket a Japanese inferno x box is around 110 euro from a reputable dealer.

How do I know if I'm being scammed or not?

In my experience usually when you open a pack and it opens a bit too easily, then you know if it has been repacked. But you could also know once you open it, usually scammers forget to add another card or change it so then you can go to them and ask for a refund.
