Pokémon TV's sub-titles need to be human-checked

These recent Sinnoh uploads on the Pokémon TV YouTube channel have some truly bizarre sub-titles, especially on proper nouns. In the past two episodes (Dawn's Early Night!) Dawn is Don, Piplup is Pipop, Wobbuffet is Wow Bathe, Cacnea is Kacneia or Cacia, Mime Jr. was "Fine, Junior". Sandshrew was "Sandrew" and Turtwig turned into… well… "turn" or "Tig" and worst of all, "church wing". Twerps is consistently mis-subtitled like "torps" or even "point". "Pika Pika" turned into "bigger". Mira was consistently sub-titled to "Mera".

Glory Blaze! uploaded today has normal-quality sub-titles that I'd expect from Pokémon. Good!

Though Tag! We're It…! uploaded yesterday is still weird ("Chimy Jar" or "Chipchar" for Chimchar, "serve" instead of "Surf", "Brideon" instead of "Rhydon" for a few examples from a couple of minutes)

    sigh

Back to weird sub-titles in the next episode to end the season (Smells Like Team Spirit!), like "Krovia" or "Roger" or "Crowunk" the Croagunk. And "Electabus" the Electabuzz. Of course, "Weasel" the Buizel. Not just Pokémon proper nouns. "Action Pole" is "Ash and Paul". "Soothe Bell" became "suit now". :(

It's not great for Pokémon's branding for this to be the official sub-titles on their product.

And it's a weird experience both for hard-of-hearing people, people who aren't in an area where they can listen to audio, and people like me who want to take screen captures with the dialogue on the screen.

New season 11! Are the sub-titles better? …Nope. We had plenty of words that don't fit. For non-Pokémon names gettin' messed up, one per main character.

James: Say, this is just scrumpty!

Sub-titled James: Say, this is just grumpy.

Meowth: What do you mean "our"? You didn't lift a glove.

Sub-titled Meowth: What do you mean hour? You didn't lift a glove.

Jessie: Once and for all, back in the ball.

Sub-titled Jessie: Once and for all. Back in the fall.

Ash: Chimchar! So, how about a little battling for you?

Sub-titled Ash: Chimchar. So, how about a little batling for you?

Dawn: Quick, Piplup, counter with Peck!

Sub-titled Dawn: Quick, Piplop, counter with pet.

    Brock: Use Poison Sting, Croagunk!

Sub-titled Brock: Use poison stink. Kroger

Okay, I said non-Pokémon names, but this one is too egregious. TPCi absolutely needs to review these before publishing the episodes, because this is really bad for the brand, and Piplup deserves better.

Piplup and Chimchar exchange Bubble Beam and Flamethrower in Tears for Fears!, Season 11 Episode 1 of the Pokémon anime. The official English sub-titles track depict Dawn referring to Piplup as "Hitler".

Then Meowth, in his conversation with Chimchar later in the episode, has "shirts" transformed into something that violates the channel's "YouTube Kids" designation in the official English sub-title track. (And I can't repeat it here.)

The Keystone Pops!'s official English sub-titles appear to be correct in most cases, but its errors stem from continually calling Buizel as another Pokémon entirely, as opposed to weird typos. Usually, Buizel transformed into Weavile (funny, because Meowth was disguised as a Sneasel during the episode), but there was also a time where Buizel/Weavile turned into Squirtle!

Sinnoh Ash Ketchum from The Keystone Pops. The narrator described "the power of the new teams of Ash and Buizel, and Dawn and Aipom" but the official English sub-titles characterise Buizel as "Weavile" Buizel is ready to use Water Gun because Ash commanded him to. The official English sub-titles instead say, "Squirtle, water gun."

For Nosing 'Round the Mountain!, the Season 11 Episode 6 episode featuring Probopass on Mt. Coronet, the "official" English sub-titles had another extremely inappropriate caption about 20 seconds into the video that would be against the terms of use to reproduce here. Apparently, whatever service generated these sub-titles has enormous difficulty with Meowth's way of speaking.

It also generally had trouble with Probopass's name in a way I also cannot reproduce here.

Please, please have a human review these before uploading them.
