I joined in January 2026, but mainly lurked until a few months later.

Why I decided to stay… I started out just yapping about Pokémon UNITE, but then I found the community section, and the people there and the stories I got to be a part of were so much fun that I decided to stick around. I could never see myself leaving unless I had to. The roleplay and ‘wars’ as we call them are probably my favorite thing that made me stay.

Well, this place has improved my life so much. It’s a genuinely great community that has made me far less lonely. I finally feel like I belong.

The first roleplay I was a part of was the Cult Wars, where I founded the cult of the leek and existed for the whole purpose of communism causing chaos and farming leek. Hades’ island story was my second roleplay and… although it ended abruptly, it was some of the most fun I’ve had. All the betrayals and fires and silly random comments, it was a great RP.

As for stories, me and D’s rivalry arc has to be my favorite. It all started when I ‘accidentally’ set a building and an angry Dragonfly Dragonite on fire, and it quickly turned into random feuds over potentially explosive substances, and chocolate. It’s really fun every time we randomly decide to continue the story, and lots of chaos unfolds :D

those were some fun RP's, and seeing the rivalry between you and dragonfly is also funny. I'm also curious you often explode when did you first come up with the idea and what was the reason behind it.

Why do I explode? Well, when I first started animating a badly drawn BSDuck, I overused the explosion meme. I guess I thought it was funny and the explodes joke kinda grew on me. It’s surprisingly explosive XD. After a little while, it became my catchphrase. There’s also some ties to the BSDuck lore, but I’d rather not fall down that rabbit hole.

says in old grandma voice Back in my day… (lol jk)

When I first joined properly, not many people other than Hades and Evolve were active. It was actually pretty empty, with only Pokémon-related discussions going round every once in a while. After a bit it got more active, but the real increase in activity (and fun) started when a bunch of new users joined, about 2 active users a week, and the community quickly grew and a lot my favourite moments happened around or after this time. I also got the chance to talk more with people like Hades and D who had been around for a longer time. I’d say the forums is in one of its best states in a while right now.

yeah it definitely is in one of its bests states, I remember before hades joined we were losing some forum members that use to be very active and have been on here for a long time. how do you think the forum members help build up to the state it is right now.

All roads… lead to Hades being insanely active le gaspuh

Honestly, the people who were active maybe a year ago really helped shape the foundation to what the forums are now. Hades really helped hold everything together when things got really inactive. All the new members like Morpeko helped truly ‘revolutionise’ this place into what it is now. A lot of the best changes happened recently (except the re-adding of flags lol)
