Why is everyone so slow in this game?

Same here. I mostly play on my phone and the bugs are what causes the delay. If I play an item card and the game glitches by the cards going to the very bottom of the screen and the only thing I can see and click is available or all so I have to wait til the timer runs.

One thing to consider is that many players from PTCGOL, the previous game, played almost exclusively in theme format which didn’t change much and you generally knew what each deck’s main strategy is.
So when such players were forced to migrate, and found no theme format, they were forced not only to create their own decks, but also be forced to carefully read each of their opponent’s cards to understand what they are playing against.
