    Let the devs do what they want with the Pokedex entries. As long as they don't stop making dark Pokedex entries I'll be happy.

    This is not just a reference to horror movies like Chucky. There is a well-known Japanese story that an object that has served people for ages begins to take on a life off its own; it would be pitiable if it were to be suddenly discarded without any show of respect or gratitude for its service, especially for something as generally cherished as a doll.

    It is not unheard of in Japan for some temples to hold “doll funerals” (“ningyo kuyo”) to respectfully dispose of unwanted dolls.
