no matter what you do the island is inescapable. Imagine an invisble barrier around it preventing you from leaving but also not so much that you can’t access water.

A barrier doesn’t prevent me from physically TELEPORTING or REWINDING TIME or USING ALL-POWERFUL GOD OF POKÉMON.
