The textures of pokemon

Sprigatito has fur.

Sandshrew has scutes/scales

Polteageist probably feels ceramic. (With liquid of course)

But some Pokemon, it’s just hard to imagine.

Sableye? I’m guessing it probably has rough skin similar to some amphibians… but it would be cool if it had fur or scales!

Mr mime could be smooth, or rough.

Name some Pokemon that you don’t know how they would feel! Think up suggestions! Have fun, please. Don’t say that “ooh this Pokemon can’t be like that because of its designnn” even if you can’t literally see the fur doesn’t mean it ain’t there. It’s cartoony. Sorry.

Hmm…

I've never really thought of the textures of specific pokemon 'till now..

What would the Alakazam line feel like? Would they have skin, small scales, or the kind of rubbery skin dolphins have?

How about the Garchomp line? Would they have scales or that rubbery sea mammal skin?

Does the Ralts line feel like humans...?

Is Joltik line's fur soft or spiky?

Is Toxtricity slimy?

Is Typhlosion fur or flesh?

Is Gyrados rough or slimy?

Staraptor is mostly feathers but what about the thing on its head? Does that feel like human hair? Or maybe fur?

I've never even considered this before but now that I have I can't stop!

I like the idea of Pokemon having unlikely textures. Maybe Pidgey is actually fleshy, and the "feathers" we see in its design are keratinous protrusions.
