The Twin Kingdoms and The Watching One

Rogue was waiting anxiously in the lab for his friend- Professor Kazam, an Alakazam –to arrive to do the experiment that could turn the tide of the entire war, when he finally heard footsteps approaching. "Kazam is that you?" Rogue asked. "Yup, it's me," came Kazam's voice, "You ready? If we can figure out how to mega evolve, we may finally be able to defeat the Shiny Kingdom with their berserkers." "Yeah," Rogue responded, a little nervous, "How are you doing this?" "It's a simple serum," Kazam told him, "If it works then you gain the ability to mega evolve." "And if it... Doesn't?" Rogue said, even more nervous. "I'm... not sure," Kazam said, "I think you'll live." "Alright," Rogue said as Kazam handed a serum to the anxious Lucario. "Cheers!" Rogue laughed, downing it in one gulp.

Later that night, there was a crashing noise outside the palace. All soldiers were called out to defend the kingdom, knowing their only chance relied upon Rogue.

Karn was fighting for his life, watching the kingdom retreat, when a new weapon emerged. He recognized the shape. This was a Lucario. Not just any Lucario, but it seemed to have mega evolved, quickly taking out all of its foes- only form one are two berserkers, not any threes. Then, the Mega Lucario was right in front of Karn, and the level three berserker wondered what came next. "You're a level three berserker," the Mega Lucario said in surprise, "How about we make this a proper fight. I'm Rogue, what's your name?" "I'm Karn," the berserker replied, "Let's make this a fight for the ages."

I watched from the skies as Karn, a skilled Jolteon dodged all the attacks sent towards him by Rogue and quickly retaliating, finally managing to make Rogue stagger to the ground out of pure exhaustion. 'Ow," said Rogue, taking one last breath before collapsing in front of the merciless berserker, breathing no more. The war was over. The kingdom of Regail soon lost its last line of defense and collapsed. They may have found the secret to mega evolution, but soon they gave that up as well as many other things. While missing much of their power, I knew that Shiny Kingdom would forever rule, so I let them. I never interfered; I just watched. I wished I could have helped, but I knew I was unable to. I watched. I watched 'till the war was won. I watched 'till there was no longer any ruler, just quiet. I watched 'till the end of it all. I watched; I watched until there was nothing left to watch. And when it was all gone, I descended, and I rested. I knew there was nothing left for me to do; the kingdoms were gone, after all.
