Afaik she isn't but I can't say for certain because I don't have it and haven't watched a playthrough yet. I do know that the era Zelda warps to in TotK has a Gerudo Champion named Ardi(2nd in command of the Gerudo because Ganondorf is in charge so she kind of rebels like Nabooru in Ocarina of Time) that Riju is a descendent of. Urbosa is probably one as well(and is another one I might do given she's Sword and Board with her unique Shield and was the only Champion(aside from Link) in BotW/Age of Calamity that could parry Guardians).
Basically I intend to roll Warrior with Riju or Urbosa as my template. Going to be an Electric Type with Lightning Rod ability. I just have to decide what Electric Type(with said ability) that would work best. Pokémon with the ability are Manectric(can Mega Evolve too), Togedemaru, Pincurchin, Zebstrika(ace of Elesa and best Electric Gym Leader bar none. Honorable to Iono though. Tera Electric on Mismagius is really clever), Raichu(hidden and with Mega Evolution too) and Plusle(hidden). Other non-Electric options are Mega Sceptile, Rhyperior, Marowak(both variants), and Seaking but the non-Electric types just don't fit the character imo.
Riju is younger than Urbosa but I won't lie that watching them fight in heels is.. ❤️🔥 I just like the idea of a dual-wield with Riju as opposed to Sword&Board with Urbosa if only because it reminds me of Ocarina of Time and the Gerudo guards.
I just can't decide on the Pokémon. Zebstrika definitely gives Urbosa vibes but for Riju.. Manectric is the early front runner. Yet Raichu is really pulling at me so I'm torn. What would you pick? Take note of Dex entries to help you decide. Manectric Thunder clouds is a big one for me but Raichu and it's Pearl entry are tempting.

Hyrule Warriors series is loosely based on Dynasty Warriors. It's a hack&slash game that is set in the Zelda universe. The first one utilized characters from multiple games while the second in Age of Calamity pulled from Breath of the Wild(namely the four champions in Urbosa, Revali, Mipha and Daruk. The story uses Time travel to pull the characters that help you in BotW 100 years later in Riju, Teba, Sidon and Yunobo).
Age of Imprisonment used Tears of the Kingdom or specifically the era Zelda warps to. In that era are Sages that help Zelda and King Rauru against Ganondorf, ultimately sealing him away for him to awaken during the events of Tears of the Kingdom.
Hyrule Warriors is not a Dungeon crawler, hence isn't Zelda but a spin-off and the first one isn't canon. AoC splits the timeline again because it has an alternate outcome when the Calamity awakens(Champions survive instead of dying the day the Calamity awakens), although some fans dispute it's validity given it's not a true Zelda title. I haven't seen Age of Imprisonment yet to comment on it.
