Its alright. Its definitely an underdog pick but its not one that i would say is a favorite. Personally my favorite in the line is Sewaddle

I'm not the biggest fan of Levanny, but I did always think it had a bit of an underrated design with the leafy person.

As far as Bug/Grass types go, it's actually pretty good. 500 Base stats is nothing to sneeze at given another Bug/Grass type I think is underrated only has 405 Base Stats. Basically if Parasect had Leavanny levels of speed and power, I think Parasect would see way more use given it knows Spore and can learn Leech Life.

Unova is just brutal on Grass types. Be it Burgh, Brycen, or Skyla and having virtually no edge on the Elite Four means rolling with Snivy is hard mode. Leavanny at least salvages it's usefulness with being a Bug so it has at least some use against Grimsley and Caitlin but that's at the end game. Then there's Marlon in the sequels taking the place of Brycen but then there's also Roxie so.. Grass gets a late game boost at the expense of a rough early game.

It’s actually really well designed, more people should like it I agree. My opinion on it is very much boosted by the hilarious western Leavanny from PMD Rescue RPG though
