Underwhelming Anniversary, Performance Issues and Network Issues on SEA server

The 5th anniversary of UNITE is great but it is underwhelming when it comes to gameplay and overall balance of the game.

It seems that the 2nd moveset will be forever deleted from the game moving forward as evident to new release of Pokémon.

Problem with having a single moveset is lackluster of the said moveset. Although it is a hit or miss situation, the moveset are either boring and underpowered like Palkia's kit.

Yveltal however is a bit in the middle, being overpower and a little bit boring gameplay.

The biggest problem for me is the 5th anniversary isn't big as intended. It has lots of giveaways and events but the gameplay is not improved especially matchmaking and network issues.

There are people who directly asked the developers from Discord to fix a continent. Oceania was being unplayable for many months having orange ping.

But goodness gracious, SEA server is also experiencing this problem. I kid you not, SEA being near around Japan's region, we experience horrendous latency and input lag.

Just why. Why are we being paired in the world's laggiest and slow server?

I am aware that this game is from Japan. Why make it a global game if people don't get the same treatment?

I've requested for a performance optimization. There isn't a single change. Japan has one of the horrendous server in online gaming. Aside from UNITE, I play other Japan based game and they are painfully slow.

    (I get lag bad in North America. My friends overseas, both across the Pacific and across the Atlantic, get lag too. I think we ALLLL have lag. Sometimes changing the leader helps it bounce off a different server so the person with lag changes, gets better or even worse. I get what you're saying though.)

    (Funny you mention Discord.... If you type/chat the word "discord" spelled correctly in-game chats either via personal chat or via lobby chat, you get a chat ban. I know, it happened to me when someone misspelled it on purpose to ask if i had that and I replied with the proper spelling that I did not have a discord acct and then got an immediate temporary chat ban. Yeah, Pokemon doesn't like that app)

    If you hop in TiMi's Official Discord server. You will find players that are so reluctant that the Oceania is unplayable for many months (according to one user it has been 4 months.)

    They were begging, crying, and becoming frustrated everyday.

    Casually bumping the thread.

    Fortunately, it has been fixed. They celebrated. But I have reported the same issue. This might take many months. Maybe it will be eventually fix around November or December of 2026.

    For now, SEA is experiencing terrible issue like Oceania did.
