Should have Steel Type been called the Metal type like in the tcg or not?

In the anime and games it's known as Steel Type, but in the Trading Card Game it's known as the Metal Type.

I mean, yeah. Steel is technically the Metal type and Grass should really have been called the Plant type or something like that. Any others that I'm not thinking of that should have different names?

Yes, it makes things really confusing when Steel type is known as Metal type in the TCG. They should just stick to one and make it official for both tcg and the rest of the franchise.
