You know the reference. I'm tempted to vote Flygon if only because every darn Dragon of consequence has one. Yet I'm going to be different and pine for Mega Ninetales with Fire/Fairy as it's Typing. A Mega would take it from 505 BST to 605 BST and I'd add 60 Special Attack(81 → 141), 10 Speed(100→ 110), 10 Defense(75→85) and 20 Special Defense(100→120). It's ability would be Scorched. Takes Normal type moves and turns them into Fire Type moves and buffs their power by 20%.
Since most players run Drought with her, she'll have 5 turns of Harsh Sunlight when entering Battle and benefits from not just 80% boost to Normal moves(which are Fire via her Mega ability), you also get the 50% boost to Fire moves from the weather(yielding an effective 170% boost in power). Tack on a Nasty Plot and well she might be a problem because Tera Blast is 80 x 2.7 = 216 power. Sunlight also makes Solar Beam a great coverage move for Water and Rock, Fairy STAB for Dark, Fighting and Dragon and Psychic to cover a new Poison weakness.
The mega would give heavy Naruto vibes lol.

Maybe someone can answer this but let's say that Scorched ability came into existence. What would the power of Weather Ball be in that scenario? Base power is 50 but doubles to 100 and changes to Fire in harsh sunlight. Question is does Scorched amplify the power given it was originally a Normal type move? Meaning 100 base power x 1.2(ability) x 1.5(STAB) x1.5(weather) = 270 power.. 🙅That can't be right would it? Even if the ability didn't proc, you'd get 225 from STAB and Sunlight so kind of OP lol.

Now I kind of want it.. 🙅 I normally don't use Mega Pokemon too but if Ninetales mega'd.. that'd be kind of cool ngl. Alolan getting a Mega would be awesome.
