Pokemon Legends: Lamonica chapter four

Chapter 4:

Quom was watching another argument between Izzy and Quom, annoyed, “Arguing, again? Really?” “Yes really,” said Izzy, “I’m positive he stole the last banana, even though I said it was mine!” “I didn’t steal it!” Shiroboshi shouts, though in his anger the sky seems to cringe away from him. “Whoever stole it doesn’t matter, because we’re almost to Sinnoh,” said Quom, “Anyways, you to need to learn to get along if we’re going to keep on adventuring together.” “Fine,” said Izzy and Shiroboshi. “So how about some group bonding?” Quom said, “I’ll start! I’m from the Hoenn region and I ran away at a young age, your turn Shiroboshi!” “I’m from the royal Shiroboshi lineage, but was left behind in Johto, I was found by Mr. Pryce, gym leader of Mahogony Town and now I’m looking for my family,” Shiroboshi said. Next, Izzy said, “I’m from a village in Sinnoh that worships Arceus, but I didn’t want to follow their ways, so I left in search of Giratina.” “Alright,” Quom says, looking at their unenthusiastic faces, “How about this, you two just talk to each other and try to get along!” “Alright,” say Shiroboshi and Izzy. 

Quom walks a bit ahead of the other two to allow them to talk, but then she hears Shiroboshi shout, “I’m not working with Quorom!” “You're his son, so why should we trust you?” Izzy retorts. As Quom walks back, she sees the wild cringing away from Shiroboshi and his anger when he says in a thundering voice, “What does that Matter?! Just because my father is Quorom doesn’t mean I’m on his side!” Quickly, Quom intervenes, saying, “Calm down Shiroboshi, I believe you.” Shiroboshi turns to her as he says, “Fine! You believe me, but does she?” Quom quickly realizes that a battle may calm Shiroboshi down, or at least distract him, so she says, “Battle me Shiroboshi.” “Fine,” he replies. 

“Shiroboshi, you may be a strong trainer,” says Quom, “But one thing is true of me. I never lose. Not to anything. Now go Ray, It’s your turn.” “Go Ceruledge,” Says Shiroboshi, sending out his Ceruledge to counter Quom’s Rayquaza. “Ray, use Dragon Ascent,” Quom says calmly, initiating a strong attack from Rayquaza, knocking out Ceruledge. As Shiroboshi sends out his Pokémon, Rayquaza makes quick work of each of them, until Shiroboshi is down to his last Pokémon saying, “Go Gardevoir! It’s your turn.” Shiroboshi quickly reaches for his keystone, mega evolving Gardevoir. Quom then says, “Ray mega evolve.” Without reaching for a key stone or anything, Quom’s Rayquaza mega evolves. “Dragon Ascent won’t work this time, not against a Fairy type,” says Shiroboshi. “That’s not the only thing Ray can do,” Quom replies calmly, “Now! Ray, use Iron crest!” With one quick attack, Rayquaza knocks out Shiroboshi’s Mega Gardevoir. “How?” Shiroboshi asks. “I’m just strong, now let's keep going,” says Quom. As they continue on, a figure moves between the shadows, carefully following them out of sight.
