why is pokemon unite becoming a bad game?

I do think removing moveset options for newer Pokémon but keeping the old 2 sets on older Pokémon makes no sense, everyone should be given mix and match options. And yeah, broken new Pokémon, but that's to be expected (look at Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra, a similar MOBA).
I think License Journey, Solo Mode, and the lack of free customizations (mainly costumes) is the biggest sin of Unite.
With License Journey, they removed the EASIEST GRINDING CURRENCY you could use to buy Pokémon licenses. Now the only way you can get points to unlock new licenses is the pathetic amount you get from sending friends' gifts or completing dailies, 100% every Solo Mode level (which even then that is finite), and the Battle Pass which REQUIRES you to PAY REAL MONEY just to get all the license points out of it.
And let's TALK about that Solo Mode, because the bots in it were legit coded by smooth-brained developers. I swear Masters teammates have better brainpower than these bots, and I saw a video about how BAD in comparison Masters teammates are compared to Ultra teammates. Solo Mode might not be a big deal at first but will quickly dissolve into grinding masochism just to have a high enough power level to beat one level. The biggest sin of this mode (so far for me at least) is Hard 1-20, where the game FORCES YOU to play and ONLY play Comfey. That would not be SUPER evil if your team bots were actually SMART.
Plus, already mentioned, but once you 100% all it's levels, Solo Mode not only loses replayability, but your "easiest F2P" way to grind License Points.
Lastly (and this is me coming from playing Dragon Ball Squadra) is the lack of free Holowears. The most you'll get are the few from the energy and ticket exchange...and that's it. Everything else gotta be bought with real money. That might sound normal, but compare this to Dragon Ball Squadra, where:
1. The battle pass has at least ONE free skin F2Ps can grind for, even if it's just a reskin, it's always a LEGENDARY rarity reskin
2. There is a gacha mechanic, but rolling duplicates nets you points. Usually not a lot, but a Legendary duplicate gives you a whole 200 points when you need 1,000 to buy a Infinite Skin. Again, they're just recolors, but they're Legendary recolors with visible EFFECTS. Hell, some of them are "free" recolors of PURCHASABLE outfits in the shop.
My point is Squadra has WAY more consistent ways of you getting a cool cosmetic even as a F2P. Sure, they're not very COMMON ways, like weekends only you can earn 5 golden capsules that let you roll a rare or rarer item guaranteed, or a certain occasional event (and the battle pass), but compare this to Unite where you barely get anything aesthetic without paying real money.
A lot of yapping, I know, but I feel like that's what I dislike about Unite most of all (and Ranked but that goes to every game with ranked tbh)

My only issue in what you said is the update that blocks us from choosing our moves on the fly
I shouldn't have to pre-set it
There was literally no point to it
II haven't played enough Solo-Mode to know any of that but it sounds awful
I hadn't realized that they even removed the outfits from the Battle Pass…
I'm telling you, the Battle Pass is a rip-off compared to what it used to be
