I watched Pokemon Journeys all day and got PLGP for my birthday. When the Scarlet/Violet series came out for the tcg, I started collecting. Now, I start making decks!

Showing my age here but 7th grade. Classmate brought their Red version to class and played during breaks. Curiosity got the best of me but that same person also had the TCG too, and played with others. Not sure if others had cards of their own but I saw TCG matches with 1st Generation cards.

Fast forward to 8th grade and Yellow version comes out. I get it for my B-Day while my friend down the street had Blue and Gold version. Didn't really play much of Gold because he moved not long after he got it. Got into the Anime because of the games and had been an avid follower since Indigo League all the way until Gen 8 where I just stopped(I disliked Alola due to how they treated certain characters and I really disliked Journeys. Made Black&White or Unova look great in comparison). I do watch Horizons because I like the reboot and characters. The addition of "Time* is another huge plus that cannot be understated. Friede + Orla... Date + Marry already.

Well, It actually started with Earthbound, one of my most favorite game at that time. so one of the main villains; Giegue, a wiggly psychic space alien thingy, some people say that Mewtwo was actually based off Giegue, and I honestly believe that is true partly because the company who was Involved with Earthbound's development or something; Ape. Inc, (later called Creatures.) Helped design most of the gen 1 Pokemon. (Now, this is just what I remember, I might be getting stuff wrong)

Soo that Besides Pikachu and maybe Charizard, Mewtwo was the first pokemon I ever actually knew about, (and for some reason I had a fascination with Giegue at the time, so Mewtwo was like a 3d "what-if" version of giegue,(because in Earthbound Beginnings for the nes, giegue is just a few pixels...) And Mewtwo is still 1 of my top 5 favorite Pokemon.

Then, on a plug and play emulator thingy which had a BUNCH of games, I found a Pokemon chaos black version! (I honestly didn't know at the time that it wasn't official :b) so I started playing that, but I got stuck right after I got the Boulder badge, I couldn't find my way through the cave... Anyways,

Later I got Super Smash Bros Brawl, and I was like, "Cool! Pokemon are in this!" So that really helped me learn much about Pokemon, and the funniest thing, I thought Lucario was a legendary Pokemon for the longest time due to how awesome they made it in the Subspace Emissary storyline 😭,

Then, later, My Dad brought home some Pokemon cards, and I thought they were the coolest thing! So that got me jumpstarted into the card collecting phase, and that's where I really started learning about the Pokemon's names and what not, then later for Christmas, I got a Pokedex Encyclopedia thing! It was sooo coool!

Well, sometime in the that timeframe, I started to play Pokemon FireRed, I chose Charmander as the starting Pokemon, and sometime later after I beat the elite four, I started Pokemon Emerald, I was sooo happy, since there was Torchic! (Chickens are one of my favorite animals and since I have pet chickens I had to get him!)

Sooo.... Yeah, that's my story I guess
