Well, as someone who is currently working on his own card game and is a game designer, I'll give you free advice: you're starting at the wrong place.
You started thinking about characters and personalities to be featured in the card game. You should instead start at the gameplay and premise of the game. Having characters doesn't help if you don't have an idea on wot those characters should be doing or how the players should be interacting with them. The point of a card game is to play it, after all.2 -
I never said that this is where I’m starting, I have my main ideas down, im just not ready to share because I’m working on it. The characters are just for fun. I know what I’m doing with them, and the point of the post isnt “give me advice i suck”

um yeah I know. Most of my characters i had already made. I enjoy creating characters and for me it’s just something to do for fun and isnt actually JUST for the game. Thanks for the advice though. 🕺

What are you making the cards out of

there are websites where you can make your designs into game materials like cards, boards, tokens etc. I think it’s cardstock.
