(I've talked about doing something like this for so long, but it's just little stories of my OC Izzy, which is pretty much if all the main characters from the Pokémon games were one person. Anyways, there's no chapters with this guy. Just little one-shots from his adventures. (Also, he's the same person as the main character from my Legends Arceus story.) I'm trying to use these as a way to improve my writing skills. Enjoy!)

"Welcome to The Late Night Talks with me, your host, Hades! Tonight we have a very special person coming onto the show! He's never lost a battle and champion of every region. That's right! You know him and either hate or love him! IIIIIIIIt's Izzy!"

As soon as the host announces me I dramatically step out from behind the curtain. The crowd erupts with a pretty equal split of cheers and groans. I just smile at them all as I take my seat, giving a few specific haters a wave and wink.

"Good to have you here," Hades tells me as we shake hands. If he means that or not, I'm not sure. But I've learned to stop caring what others truly think a long time ago.

"Good to be here," I respond as I get settled into my chair. They have those really comfy ones that make you feel like your sitting on a cloud as you slowly sink into the soft cushions.

"So, how do you feel tonight," the man asks, leaning back in his seat as he watches me with expectant brown eyes.

"I'm doing pretty good," I answer. I settle in a bit more, crossing one of my thighs over the other and place my hands in my lap. "I just finished a good meal of croissant curry before coming here so that's got me in a good mood."

"Croissant curry," Hades repeats in question, laughing when I nod. "That sounds interesting but we'll have to talk about it another night. Tonight's topic is Leon!"

"Good man," I tell him happily, a real smile replacing my fake one as I sit up a bit straighter. "Very fun to be around and life of every party I've taken him to! Fun fact: He was the last Champion I defeated to become Champion of every region."

"Oh, really," the host inquires, actually sounding intrigued. "Why don't you tell us more about that battle?"

"Sure," I reply excitedly. I uncross my legs and lean forward in my seat as I think back to that day eight years ago. "I actually remember it pretty clearly despite being so long ago. It was one of the coldest days of winter that year had. It was even snowing outside! But I felt like I was on fire, the anticipation burning me up! This was going to be the biggest battle of my life! My endless winning streak and "World Champion" title depended on it!" My brain wanders a bit. "Although, my battle with him really didn't compare with my battle with Cynthia. That woman… She nearly ended my entire career when I went against her!"

"Izzy," Hades cuts in with a chuckle as he wipes some of his dirty blonde hair away from his face. "You're getting off topic. We want to hear about the battle with Leon." He maintains his nice persona well, but I can tell he's a bit annoyed. It makes me want to purposely stray off topic just to be a pain. However, I resist the urge and give him an apologetic smile.

"My bad," I tell him with a small head bow. "I'll fix it. Leon. Yes, I still remember my exact team at the time. Char was there, of course. I use him in all my Champion battles. Along with my starter from that region, this one being Bundles my Cinderace. I also had Rookie the Corvignight, Tox the Amped Form Toxtricity, Wimpy the Grimmsnarl, and Destroyer the Eternataus."

"Eternataus!?" the host exclaims with fake surprise, obviously just trying to hype up the audience. "Isn't that the Legendary Pokémon that almost threw the Galar region into utter chaos?"

"Yup," I answer simply. "That's why I used it. Wanted to show off!"

"That sounds just like you…" Hades mutters under his breath with a quick, almost unnoticeable glare. He's definitely a hater.

"Anyways, you're getting off topic. This is about Leon, not Eternataus," I chime, smirking when I see annoyance flash through his eyes. "Back to what we're actually talking about, something else I'll never forget is the crowd that day. I've had many battles in my ten year career and have battled for many audiences, but none of them can compare to that one. Everyone was so hyped up and excited. It was infectious! Really added on to the joy of battling!"

"So how about the actual battle? How did that go," the man asks, his smile still there but his tone tired. He wants me to speed things up. I would take extra time to describe every single detail just to annoy him further, but I know we're on a time limit. That's the only thing stopping me from taking my sweet time.

"The battle itself was pretty epic," I tell him, sitting back in my chair as I remember every part like a movie. Each move, each counter, each breath, each thought. I vividly relive it all in just a few seconds, sending shivers down my spine. However, I know we don't have the time for all that so I'll just give a basic run down. "I started with Wimpy and he Aegislash. I remember expecting an easy win with False Surrender but then he used King's Shield. Should have seen it coming but I didn't. He followed up with Iron Head but we thought fast with Sucker Punch. Both Pokémon took a heavy hit but it was immediately obvious what his strategy was. He wanted to—"

"Yeah, yeah, that's great," Hades butts in, not even smiling anymore. He just looks irritated. "But we don't have time for all that." Rude considering I was giving the short version. "Instead, I want hear what you would say was the highlight of the match. The best part!"

I sigh with disappointment, silently apologizing to all the great parts I have to skip. "The final battle between Char and Charizard. The funny part was Leon's face when I sent out Char! I had actually switched out Destroyer to use it and he thought I was using the Legendary to face his G-Max."

"Why didn't you," the host questions, actually sounding interested.

"I always finish things off with Char," I answer, my hand going into my pocket to hold my Charizard's PokeBall. "Back to my story, Leon, of course, Gigantimaxed his Charizard but I chose a different Gimmick. I could have G-Maxed as well, but this was my final Champion battle. I wanted to end it with mine and Char's favorite power: Mega Evolution!"

"I'm sure we all already know which one," Hades says, cutting me off again despite him being the one rushing me. "Mega X."

"If you guessed that you'd be correct," I reply, flashing the camera one of my signature charming smiles. "So we had Mega v G-Max. I remember how excited I felt, seeing the size difference. I thought I would feel worried making that decision, unsure how well a Mega could handle Maxing. But when the moment actually came and I saw Char in his X form out there, I felt only confidence. We had this in the bag. Leon went with Max Rockfall, starting strong with advantage. I commanded Char to Thunder Punch right through it!"

"You're insane," Hades exclaims, actually in shock at this information. Weird because I thought he would have seen the match, Guess not.

"An insane genius," I respond with a smirk. "Char did take damage, but he smashed through it taking significantly less than if he would have just taken the hit and slammed his fist into that giant wannabe Dragon! I can still feel the way the sound echoed through the stadium. It was like actual thunder had rumbled through the sky. The way the ground shook as the G-Max staggered back from the hit was like an earthquake. I looked at Leon and saw that he was just as surprised as I was by the result of move, but he was also equally excited! Instead of aiming for a super effective hit, he commanded a G-Max Wildfire. A smart move since he was expecting there to be a long game."

"You said a long game was expected," the host points out. "Are you saying there wasn't?"

I nod. "That's correct. If you'd let the battle play out, you'd find out why." Hades shoots me a glare but keeps his mouth shut. "As I was saying, Char landed on the ground just as the G-Max attack was launched. Instead of countering the incoming attack I simply had Char use Dragon Dance. A nice stat increase right before taking damage. My partner used the explosion of the impact to have a cool dramatic exit from the flames as he soared out, heading straight for the G-Max's face!"

"Did you use another Thunder Punch," the other questions, sounding disappointed at the thought of me using the same move twice.

"No, of course not. And you would have known that by now if you would have kept your mouth shut," I snap. I honestly didn't have to be so rude about it, but I love how annoyed it makes him. I savor the side eye and growl I receive, making this entire night worth it. "I actually use Rock Slide, a four times super effective attack that dealt even more damage from the attack increase. Just like that the big final battle was over, Leon's Charizard going down with a bang from the Max energy being knocked out of it and Char standing victoriously above it, shooting blue flames in the air triumphantly."

I smile to myself and stare off into the distance, recalling the way I felt overwhelmed with joy, even breaking into tears as the crowd went wild, Char flying to my side and crashing into me. The two of us celebrated after with 47 pizzas. We threw up all night but it was totally worth it.

"And that's all the time we have for tonight," Hades states, standing up to smile at the camera. He then looks at me, his eyes staring into me with a silent demand. "Izzy! Have anything you want to say to our audience?"

Oh yeah. They told me to tell everyone to buy from our sponsor. Some PokeBall dealer. Nah, I'm not doing that. "Yes I would," I answer happily as I face the camera and watching crowd. "Make sure to stay the night at the Hotel Z in Luminous City!"

"WHAT!?" Hades exclaims with pure rage as the cameras go off and I laugh maniacally.
