I just won't be able to be consistent even on the days I do play since my parents don't know. I may be able to join in for a few minutes, but I would not be able to be very present. If u guys r fine with it I could play a bit, but my character might have to be picked up by the GM at any point in a session.

Eh I'm going to be busy the first three sessions given my volunteer work. I'll be here for the first ~45 minutes, then drop off for like 15-20 as I travel and then will be intermittent for the remainder of the Session(provided I have signal out there(which I should)). Given I'm not a primary person but merely a secondary helper, I should be able to finish the Session. Games usually end around the time Sessions end anyway or around 20:30 UTC. Just in time for me to help with cleanup.
Daggerheart is entirely different from D&D in that the group moves in unison, with each player utilizing their talents to steer the story(and GM giving players some spotlight if needed). Meaning I could steer the ship at the beginning before another player takes the helm and so on.
Plus playing this will be no different than posting on the forum as you usually do. It's not like we're asking you to get on a Discord or having you "talk" and what not.
In the end, it's your call on whether to participate.

Up to you
But considering the fact @UnovanZorua character isn't done and I don't think @Evolve8eon is, either, it might be good to

If you want to, it's no skin off my back. It just means that I'll only be slightly awol for the first two sessions as opposed to three. Also means Hades will be available at the start since his coding class is done. Again for me specifically, I'll be at session start for about 45 minutes before I head out for a bit. I'll try to poke my head in as much as possible from that point but I make no guarantee.
Jr. Giants have enough help as it is but the kids that sign up for it have the skill like the following:
