Hey
Yeah OoT is on NO... Had a blast but I remember being able to aim better on N64 than I can on the Switch... Made Dampe and mini-games a royal pain in the arse(literally couldn't get Bow upgrade at Gerudo Fortress but somehow got the Heart Piece...)
A Link to the Past is fun and not as time consuming to 100% it. One thing you'll note about old Zelda games is that each Dungeon has a theme with a Dungeon item that helps you complete it(including defeating the Dungeon Boss). BotW/TotK doesn't have that(even A Link Between Worlds doesn't because Ravio loans or sells you the item you need).

People say the og is so good but the graphics give me a headache

Hey
N64 was a leap forward at the time it came out. It hasn't aged well but it can be forgiven due to hardware limitations. The "remaster" on 3DS did some graphical polish along with some QoL changes(like equipping Iron Boots or Hover Boots with a button without having to open the menu(Made Water Temple so much easier, Ditto Shadow Temple) but as it's core it was the same game.
What they're doing for the Switch 2 could be an overhaul to the game engine for all we know. Taking Ocarina's story(and perhaps unused concepts) and molding it onto an entirely new game with a graphical update that, as of right now, looks better than before.
Not due out any time soon though so a lot can change.

It’s funny because I am psychically unable to okay the ohs
So even though many people say “why they remaking it”
I know it’ll be better

I am the exact opposite. I love that era of early 3D graphics, and I am glad it is getting something of a revival in indie spaces, just as 8-bit and 16-bit graphics once did.
Out of interest, how were you playing? On original hardware the framerate was... choppy l, to say the least. I don't know if the NSO version improves it, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

Hey
Felt no different than what I remember on N64 when playing on NO. The only difference being that I couldn't aim worth diddly and my sword fighting wasn't as polished as I remember(could just be me or that I'm using a joycon instead of N64 controller). Didn't help that I didn't really have a third C-Button so it made doing music a pain(Ditto Zora's River with the Frogs).
All in all, solid experience. Would it be better with the N64 controllers they sell to Expansion Pack subscribers, eh who knows.

Hey
It may just be a joke based on the beginning of the game but I still find it funny

I never said you couldn't find it funny, or enjoy the joke or the media that employs it.
I just think the problems with Navi have largely been exaggerated or outright manufactured in the mind of the public by such parodies, in many cases for people who haven't even played the game.
It's similar to the character Zapp Brannigan in Futurama. He may well be my favourite character and I love every scene that he is in. He is also clearly a parody of Captain Kirk from Star Trek.
Unfortunately he is such a well known parody that some people seem to think that Kirk was that womanising, jocky idiot character. Particularly people who have never seen Star Trek. In some cases, people who haven't even seen Futurama.
Now there were elements that were true to Kirk, sure. The parody would be ineffective if it didn't represent some truth about the original source. Kirk did like the ladies, he was an action hero at times, and he did seem a bit ignorant or foolish in some scenes opposite Spock, his entirely logical, genius science officer.
But he was for the most part a noble, intelligent, heroic and compassionate leader. A man who would have probably resented a man like Brannigan becoming a captain.
Yet I still really enjoy the parody character. I am simply saying it is important not to let the parody become the popular public perception of the original source. That's how things get Flanderised and companies remove or destroy things that were prefectly functional because they and the public mistake them for their parody.
